July 2010: Kirsty Pringle appointed to aerosol support and research post
The Leeds global aerosol modelling group has made a new strategic appointment. Kirsty Pringle has been appointed to a newly created Aerosol Support and Research Scientist post in ICAS. The permanent post is intended to provide long term continuous scientific and technical support and expertise for the Aerosol-Chemistry-Climate Group’s models. ACCG comprises Ken Carslaw, Martyn Chipperfield, Dom Spracklen, Graham Mann (NCAS), Steve Arnold, and Mat Evans. 50% of the post will be for support and 50% for research. ACCG uses and develops several important aerosol-chemistry-climate models, including GLOMAP and the UK Chemistry and Aerosol Model in the Met Office climate model.
