Volcanic and geoengineering impacts on stratospheric aerosol and climate
This is a NERC project led by the University of Cambridge (John Pyle). We will use GLOMAP and the UKCA climate model to study the impact of volcanic eruptions on stratospheric aerosol and climate. We will also look at the climate response to deliberate injections of stratospheric sulfur as a geoengineering option.
