Upcoming meetings
The next QUEST-DESIRE meeting will be held at LSCE, Gif-sur-Yvette (near Paris), France over three days in the week commencing May 25th 2009 (dates to be confirmed). Please mark this in your diaries!
The 2009 QUEST ASM will be held at the Cotswold Water Park Hotel on the 27–29 April 2009. Information on the hotel is available at its website: http://www.cotswoldwaterparkhotel.co.uk/

Workshops
A number of workshops will be held from 2007–2010 on themes being researched within QUEST-Desire.
QUEST Dust Working Group
The first workshop, on dust records, was organised by Barbara Meyer and Sandy Harrison and was held in Exeter on November 15–17 2007. A report, presentations and supporting material are available online for QUEST-Desire members and participants of QUEST Dust Working Group.
QUEST Working Group on Abrupt Climate Changes
A workshop on “High-Resolution Pollen Records and Reconstruction of Vegetation Changes during Dansgaard-Oeschger (D-O) events” was held at Haut Carre, University of Bordeaux 1, from June 16th-19th. For further information please see the website
