About Me

I work at the British Antarctic Survey within the Climate Programme. My work involves investigation (by numerical modelling and data analysis) into the climate variability of Antarctica and the coupling with global- and regional-scale dynamics.

I have got a PhD in atmospheric sciences from the University of Cambridge. My research focused on the transport of halogenated short-lived species, such as those emitted near tropical coastal regions, which can be lifted by tropical convective systems (e.g. thunderstorms) through the tropical tropopause layer (TTL) and into the stratosphere where they could potentially have an impact on ozone concentrations.
